     1. Document identity. The document number sits in a callout above the
        body, where a reader lands, and the full control set is the final
        numbered section of the document, beside the revision history. Both
        are rendered from the frontmatter that check_docs.py validates and
        the Document Register mirrors, so nothing is typed into a document
        body and nothing drifts. GitHub renders the same frontmatter as a
        table natively.

        The section number continues the document's own numbering: documents
        have different section counts, so it is derived from the page's table
        of contents rather than hard-coded. javascripts/doc-control-toc.js
        adds the matching entry to the right-hand table of contents.

     2. Showcase announcement, shown only when a build sets extra.showcase
        (mkdocs.public.yml does; an instance does not). The Audit Pack
        sentence is further gated on extra.audit_pack_url, so a showcase of a
        fully unlocked tree does not advertise a lock that is not there.

     3. Showcase download button, on the home page only and gated the same
        way plus extra.download_url. The zip is written into the site by
        tools/zip_free_tree.py during the showcase build. -->
